Neves has been in sensational form since his much publicized move to Championship outfit Wolves, helping them to promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 6 years.
The Portuguese international has been previously linked with a move to Liverpool during Brendan Rodgers reign, and has shown this season why once he was on the radar of every top club in Europe.
If he does go on to make the move to Anfield a former Red has no doubt that he can make an impression at the club.
“Not only can Wolves stay up in the Premier League next season but they could do it with the team they’ve got now,” Collymore said in the Mirror. “Their technical ability is exceptional and in Ruben Neves, who is only 21, they have a player who could be a superstar.
“I could see him being at Liverpool now.
Wolves paid just over £15m for the midfielder and would look to double their money if they were to sell him on next summer.
