Long term Liverpool & Arsenal target Thomas Lemar will not be leaving Monaco this window, according to Monaco’s Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev, who was speaking to RMC Sport.
When asked did he regret not letting Fabinho or Lemar go this window, Vasilyev said
No, I have no regrets. When I have to make a decision, I always measure the risks and consequences. The consequences could have been more serious if they had left. There, I see that they come back. They will be very important for the second part of the season. If they both left, it could have had a very negative impact on the team and maybe we would not be playing on the podium this year.
When further pushed on if Lemar would stay or go
So you can guarantee 100% that Thomas Lemar will stay in Monaco until the end of the season?
It was reported earlier on that Lemar is actually holding out for a move to Barcelona, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already stated that he will not be replacing Coutinho this window so it would seem any move for Lemar will now 100% be in the summer.
