Representatives of Liverpool have reportedly met with Ukrainian side Zorya the night before the Champions League final to open talks about a possible transfer for their young goalkeeper Andrey Lunin.
Lunin, 19, has already made himself the No.1 with current side Zorya Luhansk and made his senior debut for Ukraine in March.
With the future of Simon Mignolet, Adam Bogdan & Danny Ward up in the air, The reds will almost certainly be looking to add at least one goalkeeper to their ranks this summer if not more than one.
The keeper has also been heavily linked with a move to Leicester, Watford, Inter Milan & Napoli with the Zorya general director admitting that talks have already started with clubs.
“Indeed, we met with representatives of two English clubs, but I would not like to advertise their names yet,” said the general director of Zarya. – Napoli and Inter? Yes, they also have an interest, and the Neapolitans have advanced the most in the negotiations at the moment. “
If the Reds do sign Lunin he would be looked at as one for the future and not as a replacement for Loris Karius.
