Lazar Markovic, could be the next player on the way out of Anfield with Swansea City & Wolfsburg both interested in taking the Serbian off the Reds hands, reports BBC Merseysport.
The winger has found himself out of favour since Jurgen Klopp’s arrival to Merseyside and spent last season on loan to Hull City & Fenerbache.
He did well enough during his loan spell at Hull that manager Marco Silva wanted to bring the player with him to Watford when he left Hull at the end of the season.
Signed for £20m from Benfica in the summer of 2014 by then Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, Markovic, 23, has never shown what he is capable of at Anfield, the move has just not worked out for him.
Both a loan & permanent deal are being discussed, Liverpool are believed to be looking for a fee of around £8m but very well may have to take less to get him off the books.
With Sturridge also on the way out it would seem the only business Liverpool will be doing this winter is offloading players.
