Reported Liverpool & Arsenal target Thomas Lemar contract offer from Monaco has been rejected, and according to Lequipe the French midfielder wants to keep his options open, and that he will leave Monaco after the World Cup.
The French international is reportedly only on £20k per week in France, and he knows he could expect a significant increase if he moved to the Premier League or Spain where Barcelona have showed interest.
The Monaco midfielder is hotly tipped to be the replacement for the now departed Phil Coutinho at Liverpool, the Reds had considered a move in January but feel his current price tag of £90m was too much.
Now with Lemar turning down a contract offer, the French outfit may decide to cut their losses and sell him this summer, it would be hard to see why they will go below their current valuation however as Lemar is seen as a pivotal piece in the Monaco jigsaw.
