Reus, 28, has spent 6 years at Dortmund notching up 94 goals in 194 games for the German giants and has been a long term target for the Reds.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would know Reus well from their time at Dortmund together, in fact it was Klopp who took the attacker to Westfalenstadion Arena.
The Anfield club will be looking to bolster their attack this summer after letting Phil Coutinho go in January plus the future of Daniel Sturridge still up in the air.
The German can play anywhere across the front three and with his contract running into its last season Dortmund may look to cash in this summer.
