It would not be a summer transfer window if Liverpool were not to sign a Southampton player, and this summer that player is set to be Mario Lemina.
According LeEquipe Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of Mario Lemina and wants to partner him with the incoming Naby Keita next season.
With 6 players already moving from Southampton to Liverpool since 2014 including the record signing of Virgil Van Dijk, news of another move for a Southampton player would certainly be an unwelcome one for Saints fans.
The Gabonese international has been one of the standout player for a Southampton side which has struggled this season, he has a contract until 2022 after singing for a then record £18m from Juventus last summer.
Arsenal have also been linked to the midfielder, however their interest has now waned and left Liverpool in pole position.
