Tottenham Hotspur & Liverpool are both eyeing a move for French international Benjamin Pavard according to reports from Bild.
The Stuttgart defender who can either play right back or centre back has caught the eye of Premier league giants after some impressive displays in the Bundesliga this season.
According to the reports Liverpool are ready to offer £30m for Pavard this summer, with Tottenham willing to match this offer, however Stuttgart are not looking to sell.
“From being an exceptional talent, Benjamin Pavard is definitely on the way to becoming an international top player,” Stuttgart sporting executive Michael Reschke told Bild.
“We are the ideal club for him right now and he feels that,” Reschke added. “If, in the future, a club from Europe’s top 10 shows real interest, we’ll sit down. Benjamin and his agent are aware of it.
“But if this summer a club believes they can sign him for €30million, this club is profoundly wrong. We wouldn’t even open the door for such a talk.”
Pavard, 21, joined Stuttgart from Lille in January 2015 and still has 3 years left on his contract, his impressive displays has seen him get a call up to the France national team and is tipped to make the World Cup squad this summer.
