Long term Liverpool target Thomas Lemar would prefer a move to Barcelona over a move to the Premier League reports Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
@LFCOwen17‘s question, Dharmesh Sheth explains that
Lemar to Barcelona could be one of the major transfer sagas in the summer, despite interest from Arsenal & Liverpool
Both Arsenal & Liverpool have been long term admirers of the French international, but with Monaco demanding £90m for the winger neither club have been willing to cough up as of yet.
Liverpool believe they have a better chance of getting the winger for less next summer, they are taking a gamble on this as if Lemar has a World Cup the price tag will only go one way, and that’s up.
It could just be a coincidence but news has come out today that Liverpool are also interested in Lemar’s team mate at Monaco, Keita Balde Diao.
Could it be that the Reds already know that Lemar prefers a move elsewhere and this is why they have not bid this winter?
And also why now their attention seems to be turning elsewhere.
