Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is once again being targeted by Liverpool as they look to add a midfielder to their ranks this summer.
Zielinski, 23, joined Napoli from Udinese in the summer of 2016 after Liverpool refused to meet the asking price for the Poland international.
The Reds may now be regretting that decision not to sign Zielinski when they had the chance, at the time the asking price was a reported €16 million but according to CalcioMercato, to get him now would cost a cool €40 million.
His manager Maurizio Sarri is a huge fan and has in the past compared him to Kevin De Bruyne.
Speaking at a press conference reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Sarri said: “He is an absolute talent, he also has great physical skills and if he grows in the level of personality, he can play in any area of the court, the new De Bruyne.”
AC Milan are also believed to be interested in signing Zielinski and according to reports Napoli are prepared to sell for the right price.
